Ancestral seat of the beloved

Welcome to

// w/ Queen gogo yemah x osun yemisi juliana luna

Our Ancestors are always inviting us to connect more
with our own knowing, our own power, and the
unique love that only the signature of our DNA
contains.

When we connect to them, we connect directly to
our own rooting. When we sit in the location of this
power, we no longer operate our lives from the
threads of longing and hunger that arise when Our
Ancestors are missing from our spiritual practice and
from our lives.

Their love and their power, no matter how distant it
may feel, is never lost. Our Ancestral currents are an
endless energy source we need right now to move
from a world of scarcity and survival, to one that
knows deep roots, deep resource. Deep
remembrance.

Unwavering steadfastness in so much uncertainty, is
paramount in this moment.

Listen, for they are Speaking.

Our Ancestors are waiting to support us to sit tall and
open in our seats, so that we can bring a new world
forward in love.

What is ancestral work? Ancestral work is the practice of connecting with, honoring, and learning from one’s
ancestors. It helps heal generational wounds by addressing inherited traumas, offers guidance through dreams and rituals, deepens identity by reconnecting with lineage and strengthens spiritual protection through ancestral support.

We will start our workshop with teachings on the vital power of this work, offering perspectives through our own lineages:

Queen Gogo as a Sangoma Priestess of the Ubungoma path (Bantu-Zulu song, prayer, ritual, and shamanism), Luna as a Yoruba Priestess of Osun (Brazil/Nigeria).

We then enter ritual, where a collective invocation
of our Ancestors will be performed as we receive
their guidance, messages, gifts and medicine. To
close this powerful time, we will share a meal
together to nourish our bodies and integrate our
experience.

Note: A 30min integration call will be available at
an additional cost for those who desire further
integration and support to sit more deeply in their
Ancestral seat.

Follow Their Invitation

when we enter the seat of the ancestral beloved, a collective invocation
of our Ancestors will be performed as we receive
their guidance, messages, gifts and medicine.

Juliana Luna is a student of the moon, a teacher, and a movement artist.

Born in Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she now lives on Lenape land, also known as Brooklyn, NY.

Luna comes from a long line of *rezadeiras*—Brazilian traditional healers—whose prayers and presence shaped her relationship with spirit, care, and ancestral wisdom. She walks the path of an Erotic Sovereignty Priestess, a guide, and a space-holder for transformation. In 2015, during a visit to the OSUN Grove through the docuseries *Brazil DNA Africa*, she received a sacred vision: ALUNA.

All of Luna’s work is rooted in presence, ancestry, and deep trust in the unseen. Whether through ALUNA, EROS, or Divine Alignment, she invites you to return to what is most real: the body as oracle, the spirit as guide, and the cycles of nature as teacher.

THE BODY IS THE BRIDGE.
THE MOON IS A GUIDE.
YOUR LIFE IS THE PORTAL.
ANCESTRY IS THE KEY.

Queen Gogo Yemah Takhakhan (b. Jillian Walker) is a multidimensional artist, diviner, and culture-bearer reshaping the colonial imagination through sacred creativity and ancestral devotion. Rooted in a Midwestern upbringing and called by the ancient ancestors of Southern Africa, she has undergone Ubungoma initiation and continues to resound the medicines and Songs of her lineage.

Her work dissolves the divide between spiritual and artistic practice—recognizing both as holy, ancestral, and alive. Through offerings such as Ancestral Seat of the Beloved, The Ocean Sessions, and AWAKE, she creates portals for others to remember who they truly are.

She gives reverent gratitude to her spiritual teachers—Makhosi Himi Gogo Thule Ngane, Queen Baba Ekhaya Esima—and to the many collaborators who have shaped her becoming. Her path is one of sacred return, reclamation, and dreaming ourselves AWAKE, together.
